The Womxn of Color (WOC) Summit was held at San Fransisco State University and intended to connect healers with our community of womxn, transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, intersex people of color. My workshop Healing the Homies was a part of series of workshops, activities, and I was one of the speakers that were dedicated to sharing different methods and resources for healing within our systems of oppression.

The UK edition of my Decolonize Wellness series which explores how WOC can reclaim ancestral healing traditions to heal intergenerational traumas in community.
Over 400 youth of color from across the state of California convened in Sacramento for the Free Our Dreams Youth Organizing Summit and Advocacy Day in September 2017 . Across California, young people of color are courageously leading the charge to protect basic dignity, justice, and fundamental rights for themselves, their families, and their communities. I was teaching youth use breath work for healing, reducing anxiety and depression, and increasing creativity, focus and energy.
